Pro: Pieces are well cut, in five different shapes with a fair amount of variation so that they are easy to find and place.Pro: The pieces aren't cardboard or wood. They are tough enough to refuse to bend and not so thick and tough as wood. This material seems very long lasting; this puzzle could last a lifetime, if you have a lifetime of doing it over and over.Pro: They fit tightly but not tightly enough to move. Tightly enough so that you can detect a mis-placement.Pro: The colors are so well distributed over the picture that it is difficult to mis-place a piece.Pro: I CHEATED. The backing on the puzzle is in six different colors , dividing the puzzle into six equal areas. When I sorted, I sorted into seven piles, the extra one for the pieces that had two colors, i.e., border pieces. I worked this puzzle area by area, so I actually assembled six 166 piece puzzles which was wayyy easier than a 1000 piece Klimt, but not the same experience really. I'm going to tackle this puzzle again and try to assemble it properly now that I'm familiar with the colors. The background blotches will be tough.Con: And this is a big con: There appeared to be some pixillation in the reproduction of the picture onto the puzzle, muddying the image a bit. This was way I decided to cheat in the first place. I'm not certain, however, that this was due to the manufacturer or the finish on the picture itself, so I'm not taking a a star off.
