We shopped around for a three wheeled bike for a while. The local bike shop guy was pushing a $600 one from a catalog in his shop, but I wanted THIS one because of the neat back basket that detaches and has rollers. The bike shop guy said he'd charge $100 to assemble whatever we got. This seemed so easy to assemble on the video, that my husband and I probably could have done the assembly, but to eliminate possible arguments, we had the bike shop guy assemble it. He charged us $175 because it "took him all day" to assemble it (I don't believe it). We had to do some adjustments ourselves after we brought it home. He messed up the height of the handlebars (he had them at seat height and they needed to be about 8" higher than they were). The brakes were loose and the gears didn't line up right, but we easily fixed and tightened up all the loose adjustments on everything by watching the video. I believe all these minor problems were due entirely to the 'sour grapes' attitude of the bike shop guy. There's a bit of 'relearning' needed to ride a three wheel bike if you are used to a two wheeled bike. There's lots of videos out there that address this. We're catching on fast. We got a 26" bike because I'm 5'2" and my husband is 6'5", and it fits for both of us.
